Mission Statement

The mission of Your Voice Talk Community Radio is to create conversations about matters that is of concern in communities where many voters and taxpayers are disconnected; to share not heard information with them; not heard from the main stream news media, newspapers, tv, or radio and lastly their elected officials. We are a grassroots communication network licensed for internet streaming where all can hear and be a part of the conversation by using their voice.

Providing Information

The purpose and mission of Your Voice Online E- Newsletter is to provide you with information and links from various city, county and state municipalities and other progressive information. We feel it is critically important that we be concerned, monitor and know what our elected officials platform/ agenda's are, where they stand on issues that directly involve and impact us; the constituent in the community who look for representation from that person. You have to pay attention, listen,ask questions. You only get one vote. After that vote you have a State Senator for two years, a State Representative, Mayor & City Councilperson for four years. If you make a bad choice it could be costly to you and the community as a whole. Do your homework and Please Choose Wisely! With that being said; we will be posting allot of information concerning these areas of interest. Information from current to upcoming events, political news. We will and do support All Neighborhood Planning Councils, All Civic Associations, All non-profits, All community based grassroots businesses that supports the community and the residents in this city, Your Voice Online & WYVT-DB is supported and sponsored by Community Collective Initiatives, Inc. Our Community Role

The Role of WYVT-DB as community radio station is to serve and to provide at best up to date community information, while educating on topics of community concerns and lastly entertain with good jazz, blues, oldies, and daily pre recorded lectures--all while promoting the welfare and happiness of our listeners. The role of WYVT- DB, Your Voice Talk Community Radio will serve that purpose. We will engage and encourage Community Talk on civic duties, active political involvement, black on black crime, reparations, unity motivation and Love. Just to name a few… We however reserve the right to change our format at times, as we will broadcast, advertise and promote only with the positive interest of the community. I learned self taught webpage design from Frontpage 98 to Dreamweaver in 2007; and created Your Voice Online http://www.yourvoiceonline.com as a E-Newsletter to be a one stop shop with a wealth of information and links to various other sites for much need to know information from social services, legal system, local news to African- American history. As the technology advanced so did my desired to reach out more so I could share more. When President Obama made it easy to get Low Powered (LP) radio https://www.prometheusradio.org/obama-signs-law- local-community-radio-act-fcc-chairman-pledges- %E2%80%9Cswift-action-open-dial%E2%80%9D - I had considered it; Harmon Carey followed thru creating WHGE-LP 95.3FM. and becoming the first black owned radio station in Delaware. I was in the process of thought still but began looking into digital radio late 2018. Moving forward after researching equipment, logistics, licenses etc. Thus…. Your Voice Talk Community Radio-- WYVT-DB first aired December 31, 2019 after a year long struggle with equipment, education on station details and setting up a non-profit “Collective Community initiatives, Inc.” . We are a controversal informative community oriented grassroots internet streaming radio station.  Thank You for tuning in.
